This privacy policy ("Policy") describes what personal information Razzall Inc. may collect when you create an account with us and use our services and also describes how we use and disclose your personal information. This Policy applies to any interactions we have with you on our website or through email and phone.
Personal information means information about an identifiable individual but does not include business information such as a person's professional title or their business contact information.
We collect personal information when a person creates an account with us on our website or participates in a Razz™ on our website. This personal information that we may collect from you includes, but is not limited to, your name, address, telephone number and email address.
In addition, we collect personal information from a person when they fund their Razz Wallet in order to participate in a Razz™ or to make payments to Sellers after a successful Razz™ has been completed, or when they withdraw funds from their Razz Wallet ("Financial Transactions"). Personal information that we may collect from you in respect of Financial Transactions includes, but is not limited to, your credit card details, wire instructions or bank account information, as applicable.
We may use your personal information to facilitate your participation in a Razz™ and to conduct Financial Transactions, respond to your inquiries, send you invoices and administer our website.
We may disclose personal information to Sellers in the event you are the Selected Purchaser so that the item purchased in the Razz™ can be delivered to you. We may also disclose personal information to third party payment processing companies that we use to process credit card transactions or money transfers. These third parties may be located outside of Canada and are only given the information they need to perform their specific functions.
We do not authorize Vendors or third party payment processing companies to use your personal information for their own purposes. In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified above, we may disclose your personal information to the extent that it is permitted or if we are required to do so by law.
We may collect non-personal information from you when you visit our website with the use of cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your computer that allows the website server to gather your browsing activities and non-identifying demographic information.
We may use Google Analytics and other analytics vendors to help analyze how visitors use our website. This website contains links to other websites which are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third party and you should use caution when accessing these other sites.
We may from time to time email you or send you a text message with marketing communications regarding upcoming Razz™ opportunities or to advise you of the progress of events on a Razz that you may have participated in. We will only use your email or text address for these purposes with your consent.
Should you wish to withdraw your consent for email or text communications, please contact us or click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email or text communication.
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect the personal information in our custody against loss, unauthorized access or use, modification and disclosure. We store all the personal information you provide us on secure servers.
You have certain rights to access, update and correct the personal information we have collected from you. If you wish to access the personal information we have about you or believe that any personal information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us.
You may request the deletion of your account at any time from the Razzall app (Account → Close my account) or on this website at razzall.com/account/close. Because Razz™ purchases are final and Sellers may not withdraw a listing once a Spot has been purchased, an account can be closed only once every Razz™ you are participating in or selling has completed or expired and any items owed either way have shipped. Any wallet balance is paid out to you before the account is closed.
Your account is deactivated as soon as the request is accepted: you can no longer sign in, and a withdrawable wallet balance of CA$5.00 or more is paid out to you by our team (promotional credit is never withdrawable, and a balance under CA$5.00 is forfeited with your confirmation, as set out in our Terms). For 30 days the account can be reactivated exactly as it was, simply by signing in to the app or at razzall.com/reactivate (or by contacting support from the email address on the account). We will remind you by email three days before the scheduled date. On that date your name, email address, phone number, addresses, profile photo and login credentials are removed from your account, your feedback is anonymized and your username is released. Records of transactions, Razz™ listings, Spots and orders are retained in anonymized form. Because tax and financial-record laws require our books to remain verifiable, we also keep one limited record per closed account — your name, contact details, address, payout information and money totals — in a restricted archive for up to 7 years. It is used solely to meet those obligations and to respond to payment disputes, is not accessible through the app or website, and is deleted automatically when the retention period ends.
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting a new version on this website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are familiar with any changes.
